How to Use — Soak, Do Not Scrub
- Fill a basin with lukewarm water — a third of a gallon up to a full gallon, depending on the length of the wig.
- Measure with the bottle cap: 2 caps for a short wig, 3 for medium, 4 for long. Stir to mix.
- Submerge the wig and soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Lift it out and rinse 3 to 4 times with lukewarm water.
- Do not rub or scrub. Pat dry and place on a wig stand.
- Finish with Awesome Human Hair Wig Leave-In Conditioner Spray and comb through from the ends upward.
Fiber Fit — Human Hair
This shampoo is balanced to pH5, the range where the human hair cuticle stays smooth and closed. Everyday cleansers run pH7 to 8 and slowly roughen and dry the hair — which matters a great deal on a piece washed only every two to four weeks.
Synthetic fiber is sealed and does not have a cuticle to protect, so it takes a different wash: Awesome Synthetic Wig Shampoo at pH6. Using the wrong formula is why a wig goes stiff or dry.
